National Sports Museum

As our cricketers prepare for their first Cricket World Cup match at the MCG, the National Sports Museum is providing visitors with an opportunity to test their batting skills against a virtual Shane Warne – Australia’s one and only “King of Spin”.

Shane Warne’s King of Spin Oculus Rift experience will transport visitors to the MCG pitch via a virtual reality headset.

The lightweight headset provides the player with 360 degree views, allowing them to seamlessly look around the stadium as they would if they were out on the MCG pitch in real life.

Every small movement is tracked in real time creating a natural and intuitive experience.
