Monash Children’s Hospital is one of Australia’s leading providers of integrated children’s health services, with over 30 specialist services and programs. Monash Children’s Hospital provides the highest levels of care right where it is needed in the growing south eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria. Already one of the leading children’s hospital’s in Australia the new facility is under construction and due for completion in late 2016. The impressive 230-bed dedicated children’s hospital will be co-located next to Monash Medical Centre.

The purpose built children’s hospital will ensure many more Victorian children and their families can benefit from world-class specialist paediatric services. In total there will be three new 32-bed paediatric wards, the majority will comprise single rooms with patient and parent accommodation, with play spaces for younger children and activity areas for older children and teens. It takes a whole community to build a hospital. Monash Children’ Hospital is a place that can help change lives, and you can play a part in its history.
The third annual Walk for Monash Children’s Hospital raises funds to help purchase vital equipment and improve facilities to enhance the care we provide children at our hospital. Everyone can help make a difference, This event is an opportunity for patients, their families and friends to show their support for their children’s hospital. This event is non-competitive and the focus is for families from across the south eastern suburbs and Monash Health enjoying the beautiful surroundings of Jells Park, uniting to help our children’s hospital and spending a lovely morning and afternoon together. Food and children’s entertainment will be available after the Walk on the day.
