Throughout the restrictions, all Ray White Oakleigh & Clayton online auctions will be held via Anywhere Auctions.
Online auctions work the same way that a standard public auction runs, and all auction rules still apply.
To participate in an online auction:
Please ensure that you have applied to register to bid for the property through the Anywhere Auction Website (Click Here) – to do so, please get in touch with the agent, and they can help you with the registration process.
Once this application has been completed, and the agent has approved your application to bid.
Your agent will approve your ability to bid through the back end of Anywhere Auctions.
Please also ensure you have a stable internet connection.
During the auction:
We ask that you access the Anywhere Auction Link before the auction time to ensure that you do not miss the start of the auction.
The link and auction rules will be available before the scheduled auction time.
The auction will run the same as a public auction, whereby the auctioneer will run through the REIV auction rules and introduce the property.
Bidding during the auction:
Once you have logged into Anywhere Auctions, you will have access to place bids. If you cannot access Anywhere Auctions, we can organise to have you on the phone with one of our agents to help you place bids.
If you do not intend to bid, you can still watch the auction through Anywhere Auctions.
Once a bid is received, the auctioneer will state the highest bid and continue with the auction as usual.
After the auction:
If you are the highest bidder in an online auction, first off. Congratulations.
The contracts are done electronically, where the agent will fill in the details and will be sent to you via email for approval.
Once approved, the deposit will be transferred to our trust account, just like we do for our on-site auctions.
